Ok, there's a couple of options ( hence my not posting in the forsale/wanted )

Is it easier to just replace the pillion 'pad' cos I'd hardly call it a 'seat' ( unless your a japanese midget ) - get it recovered ? or maybe replace it with a fibreglass shell to use as a storage area ? I mean - who actually pillions on a cbr rr ?

I removed the pillion strap and recovered mine with white vinyl. The white was put directly over the black so that it is a little firmer and can also easily be removed. I'm not sure if I have pics of it but maybe Foetus does as he has the bike now...

$11 for the vinyl from Clark Rubber and a few staples... much cheaper than any of the other options. (I wanted the single seater look) With the white seat and the pegs folded up it looks good. Plus the seat is still there and usable if you do need it. The only problem is the seat is shaped under the strap so you'll be left with a mark. It's a simple thing to make a white strap for it using the anchors off the old one though.

Just a thought - and a cheap option.

Oh and ask Ryder if anyone pillions on a BabyBlade!
