Hey, I built my soapbox with past failures too.

Took me three goes to get my car license. First two were dumb things, assessor being an arsehat, etc, etc. I know how it feels - and the fact that I tried to turn through red lights on those first two goes had nothing to do with it.

My bike tests were a piece of piss, but I did them in Collie. No dramas there - and things were easier back then anyway.

Keep at it, better luck on the next go.

Midland is supposed to be good for 250 tests... I would suggest u get a lesson thru a school and they will show you the areas they take you on the tests too

Mate not trying to be to negative here

But if this is the third time youve failed you can do one of two things

1. Give up all together
2. go back to basics and learn it all over correctly

for them to fail you they must have some reason to, cant just say no and tell you to fuck off, check your sheet, take it to an instructor and say "I WANT TO WORK ON THIS"

anyway better luck nex time

I think you may need to really re evaluate your methods.

You have failed in the car and failed 3 times on a bike. You seem to be blaming everyone but yourself. TO be quite blunt it is your fault and your fault only that you are failing.

I suggest changing instructors to get a different take on things take them your sheets and show them where you are falling down etc they will be able to help you out in that area.

You may think they are stupid mistakes but they are mistakes that could cost you your life and that is why the assessors are deeming you not competent.

The other option you have is to spend some time in the car and get your confidence up on the road and then get some more time on the bike once you have learnt the lie of the land so to speak.

I don't mean this as a dig at you mate but hopefully it helps.

Dude you gotta relax a bit. It is a test..... yes, but maybe try to think of it like your just on a ride with friends and enjoying being out there (doing all the right things) As Fozzy says you cant blame others for this. But maybe reasses the situation, you need to put your fails and negative tests out of your life and mind forever and start fresh. How much riding have you done?

i know what you mean about bike testing being easier, it took me 6 goes to get my car licence (5 fails) but aced the bike test on the first go.

That's probably only because you couldn't do parallel parking or reversing.

Seriously, IMO the bike test is harder but
1) most people do it after the car test, and
2) most people do the car test when they are young and pretty clueless when it comes to roadsense and roadcraft (not that you get taught much of the latter by the average car driving instructor).
