You shouldn't have an issue if you have some sort of a clue about the speed limits and school zones. My instructor took me on a usual route which was more through the west leederville area (did oturns on a off camber road that has a big uphill) and then e-stops aswell.

When it came down to test time, I did a super short course. Pulled out of dpi, turned left then right into the cul-desac. Did o-turns there. Went up the road and turned left at railway pde. Then left down at the bus-stop. Stopped, then went straight through to the 4 lane road behind city west. Did my e-stop there. Then he got me to ride around the city west round about, pull out and then ride back to dpi.

I was going to do my test at willagee, but there was no openings.

Well I did my test at city west.

Blue line was with the instructor following me
Red Squares are where he made me stop
Red/Black Line is where I did O Turns and E Stop
Pink Line was me following the Instructor back to the centre

According to my instructor, this is the route you are taken if your test is during peak hour.
