I have just realised that I have my test tomorrow morning when I thought it was next month. I haven't had any lessons but I have been riding the bike a fair bit over the last couple of months so i'm very comfortable on it.
Can anyone give me any tips....as in..... what the instructors will be looking for and what not to do??
Any help is appreciated
I'll let you know how I go....

That's a fault.
Riding instructors teach you about your road position on the road and things like that which they will definately look at. If you know someone that can shadow you today it's probably a good idea to learn about all that stuff.

Ok, so I'm assuming u already feel pretty stupid, so I wont waste ur time aggreeing that u'v stuffed up
Just a few things they'll be looking for....
Road position, confidence, head checks (side streets, changing lane position), general stuff like how much distance before a turn that u indicate/move across... obeying signs/general road rules, road awareness/safety, o-turns, e-stops, positive starts (taking off strongly not piss weak wobbles)...
Basicly ride safely and confidently without being an idiot.
Oh and KEEP BOTH HANDS ON THE BIKE AT ALL TIMES. Instant fail if u dont
Good luck mate. Hope ur ready

You'll do fine, you have more than enough experience for a test, it's not that hard. Remember
Head check every street and when changing lanes and for O turns.
Look up on your O turns, not at the ground it's supposedly easier.
Practice 6 turns, 3 circles thats all you have to do.
Watch for the examiners turn signals (if you're going to miss a turn they'll be using these to remind you)
It's not a long test probably only be out for 15 mins or so.
Don't panic. It's not too late
Good luck you'll do just fine

Yeah, head-checks and road positioning are the big one, assuming of course you are in control of the bike and confident on it.
Practice emergency stops, and remember "MILO" - Mirrors, indicate, look (head check), overtake (or u-turn/change lanes/etc).
Personally if I were you, I'd see if you're able to book in at least *1* 1 hour lesson or so today/tomorrow morning (if you can, obviously) before the test to get an un-biased person to comment on your riding skills and give you some pointers on stuff to work on... not just to pass the test, but also because its definately worth making sure you've got the skills to survive out there...

Where's your test? Some people might be able to give you a few specific pointers about the common routes.

Also, don't forget to head-check train-tracks.
I got pinged for that on my test even though the tracks in question were no longer used (at least, i'm pretty sure they aren't - they're the most poorly signposted tracks i've seen if they are).
I didn't get a fail for it (did everything else ok and head checked everywhere else), but yeah...

Put your left foot down when u stop so u have ur right foot to brake and keep ur brake light on for cars behind you.
indicate if u move more thank 3 metres acros ur own lane and check blind spot even while moving in ur own lane!
use all 4 fingers on hand brack whilst emergancy stop, i dont agree with this rule but i got failed once for it in kelmscott.
dont stray across ur own lane whilst turning, try and stay in the same position i.e close to curb.
DO UR HELMET UP B4 U TAKE OFF. another no brainer a mate failed on.
make sure all ur light work on ur bike b4 u leave 4 ur test.. same as have chain guard on.
look left and right upon aproaching railway no matter what, they dont care how long u have had a C class license u have to do all this shit for show again.
if u fail dont storm of and chuck a hissy fit, stay and listen to what ur examiner has to say. he will point out what u have to work on for your next test
im sure there is more... ill try think

Thanks for all the input.....
So the main things I should do are:
Ride in the centre of my lane or slightly to the left of centre.
Head check often while riding, as I pass every turn(left and right?) and as I cross railway tracks.
Head check when changing lanes and turning corners and O-Turn.
Use my left foot to balance when stopped and the right foot to break.
Use all four fingers on the break lever when doing the Emergency Stop.
Mirror, Indicate, Look, Overtake/Maneuver.
And do what the Polisher said....."JUST DO IT".
I have my test in Midland, I've heard Morley is the place you don't want to have it. The test is at 10am so I have a few hours to practice My O-Turns and E-Stops.
With the O-Turn, do I have to indicate left and pull over, then head check indicate right and maneuver out and do the turn?
And at what speed do I have to get up to before hitting the breaks in the E-Stop? Do I have to stop within a certain distance?
Millsy.....I can't get hold of Steve....he hasn't msg'd me back from this morning.

Dude,
If you don't know that riding in the centre of your lane (or simply "slightly left of centre" as you put it) through the oil is bad, then cancel now and get some lessons...
Road positioning depends on a lot of factors, but given what you just said, I seriously don't think you'll pass... and even if you do fluke it, you're not ready.
Get some lessons - they may well save you some skin or possibly worse...
edit:
Please don't take offense... I'm not trying to give you shit or whatever....

The E-Stop will be done at 50km/h few tips
*********Only use the front brake but cover the rear with your right foot********* if you're nervous your likely to lock up the rear and thats a fail. Some people say 90%front and 10%rear at the end but there really is no need ot use the rear the front is more than effiecient to pull you up.
I'm pretty sure you have 12m distance to stop. The assessor will stand on the side of the road and ask you to go down the road turn around and come back in his direction watch for his arm (he'll have in the air) when he drops it you have to stop and form the moment he drops it your brake wil be measured. You should be able to brake in half this distance so not a hard task.
You've got the Oturns correct indicate left to pull over and wait for instruction then indicate right to pullout and keep it on as you turn **(headcheck)**
***When riding on a single lane street you MUST ride on the left of the oil slick and on a two lane road you ride in the left lane on the Right of the oil slick. ***** This is one of the things you will assessed on so it is an absolute must. If you can try and get out tonight and get in the habit of doing it. I did my Rclass few weeks ago so none of this has changed and the road positioning is something that you need to know for your own safety. Riding in the centre means you are riding on oil which gets on and in your tyres and will at sometime bite you in the ass.
Remember these things and apply them.
Good luck
If you're around my area I can come out with you tonight for a bit and/or tommorow before your test but I am not eligible to be a shadow as I have only had my license for just over a year. I will do it for you but on the rare case that we are pulled over by police you'll likely cop a fine.
Pm me if you wanna go out for a rideor better still Call or sms me

Harsh, but fair and accurate. The truth is often like that.
Right now you only seem to be focused on passing a test. This does not mean you can ride a bike in the real world, only that you can learn a few prescribed moves.
Even if you do pass your test tomorrow, please please please get some instruction on how to stay alive out there, because without sounding melodramatic, people will try to kill you.

Yeah.. what he said, but if you are lucky enough to pass,
for fks sake get out with experienced peeps and listen and learn what they have to say, dont think the license in your hand is the means to ride well...
get yourself on a decent course, plenty around
apart from that! good luck stay safe!

cause most stuff has been covered i'll just say this...
remember to turn your indicater off once through the corner and so on, cause if you don't you can be failed for it.....( as i was told that on the ARD course at AHG today).
Also, make sure you have a shadow to take you to your test, and on standby to take you home, ( if you fail), you may get into trouble for it......
good luck mate.....

Good luck mate.... Key thing is to relax! Wish u the best but again as everyone has said, a license does not necessarily mean u can ride. Get some lessons or ride with a shadow to help keep u alive
