Using R-E over east

Sorry if this has been asked before, I might be going over east on holidays, using my WA R-E licence, am I restricted to a 250 in NSW or can I ride bikes under LAMS ?

I hired a bike whilst in Coffs Harbour on RE's. They applied the LAMS rule and I hired a 650 Hyosung - not a great bike to be honest, but great to get around and see the sights on.

you can check on the individual states websites, they usually have something about riding/driving on an interstate licence.

when living in canberra it seemed that you followed your ACT licence conditions when driving/riding in NSW. Good for learners because they had no speed restrictions compared to NSW learners iirc.
