    VTR 250 Exhaust Pipe

Hey guys! I was wondering what were your experiences and recommendations for an exhaust for the Honda VTR 250. I did my research and looked around for the different brands, but not all of them have say.. sound clips? So I don't really know how they sound like and i've really only heard the Roo Racing one on my friends.

Since Roo and Screaming Demon were somewhat on the same price range, how was the Screaming Demon as compared to the Roo?
Link for the SD here Xtrem Black Oval - Full System [VTR-250 09-11] - $649.90 : IXIL Exhausts Australia, Race Bred Performance

    Thanks guys(:

I've got a proper fabricated custom pipe but far as i'm concerned either one would be fine, don't think you can go wrong either way - they should both stop making it sound like mice in a spinning wheel

Old man has a VTR and it came with a Screamin Demon on it... Not sure if its the full system or just a slip on (havent looked that closely), but it sounds pretty good for a 250.

Sounds a shitload better than my Ninja anyways. Pretty jelly!

I would think the Roo pipe would be the better looking system of the 2 tho...
SD has a pretty bulky can.

Yeah i don't think i would spend that much on a pipe for a 250 its not going to make any difference to performance

Just put an Akrapovic on a 2011 cbr.. massive difference to torque and responsiveness and even slight top end gains from 157 to 166kph on the same bit tarmac... and with the insert in its not too loud at all.

When you only have 23hp to play with, small changes make a huge difference.
Then there is the weight difference which is huge.

The vtr is a bit harder to find one as it was not sold in the US.

I've got a Roo on mine, put it on as soon as I could afford it after buying the bike. Was purely for the sound though, so people could hear me coming, I could hear the bike at higher speeds and the to impress my mates.
Unless you adjust the carby's (roo give u the details on how to do this), it will have no effect on performance. Even if you do (i havnt) i doubt you would be able to tell the difference.
The guy at Roo was awesome, you just have to place an order a few days in advance because he manufactures them himself and will cut off the old one and fit the new while you wait.

support your local i reckon, rather than buying off the net, they'll do a better job of it anyway
