Im thinking 600 or 750. Ive heard the 750 is a brilliant all round (and 'girls') bike. But I will probably test ride a few before buying

Can't you tell that this is all just a contest,
The one that wins will be the one that hits the hardest!

Seriously want that bike lol.I was just thinking that. You might only say it once but I bet it gets quoted shit loadsI guarantee you will regret typing that.![]()
Toss up between something like the new ninja 650P or Yamaha FZ-6s. Or I might stick with a mid range naked, GSR600, Hornet or FZ-6n. I still like nakeds but am wondering about hiding behind a fairing.
or I might just give in to the middle age crisis thing and buy something like a bifer and go touring. Finally get out of this city and see the rest of australia.

Back on topic, I made a rule that I wouldn't buy a litre bike (Though a 99 busa that was for sale was mighty tempting, as was an immaculate fireblade) because I knew I would be using it for commuting and minor scratching. The Street fills my needs for a happy commuter during the week and a quick, decent handling scratcher on weeknights/weekends. It's fast for a naked too, you'd have to be on a 'keep up or crash trying' ride to get left behind.
It needs a flyscreen for country runs though.

You mean the one where before you get a test ride, you (allegedly) sign the disclaimer that has in small print "By walking in the door, I agree to purchase this bike at 1.3 times the marked price"?
