Thumbs up 2007 MAD Ride Cheque Presentations

The crew at this years cheque presentation.

Sorry for the huge delay guys n gals, but we the MAD Committee haven’t stopped a day in making sure we get the ball rolling for the 2008 MAD Ride.

The community support of MAD has been unfailing, especially from fellow motorbike enthusiasts. It was a priviledge last year to work with a committee of people who outdid themselves once again in presenting to the community an awesome festival and ride.

Our main beneficiaries, Shenton Park Rehabilitation Hospital and REDS Spinal Reasearch Laboratory were once again presented with a truly astounding donation of $25,000 each. Our goal was to double our previous years donation, and we did it! Also it is with great pleasure that we could support a young rider by the name of Matt Kuhne, a former protege of Casey Stoner, to the tune of $10,000. So not only did we support Shents and REDS but we helped make a difference in one young persons life whos fighting hard to rehabilitate themselves from a spinal injury. It is awesome to see the hard work and the generosity of countless people, go to such deserving organizations that truly do make a difference in our community and our world.

We the committee thank each and everyone of you who so generously support MAD with your donations, without you all MAD couldn’t make as much of an impact as we have done so far. In total, MAD has donated $41,000 to Shenton Park and $41,000 for REDS…..an awesome amount of $$$.

This years MAD will be even bigger. With the tremendous support of the Northam Motorcycle Festival, MAD will be aiming even higher in the $$$ we want to raise. We hope to see you all once again this year to be a part of what will be yet another spectacular MAD ride with even more $$$ raised.

Thanks everyone, from all those of the 2007 MAD Commitee.

No, I do not.

I feel let down with the lack of a novelty size cheque

That aside, excellent work!
