Though we are unsure of the exact amount of money raised on the night, (due to costs being taken out), we took about $5500 on the night plus table sales.

We would anticipate a profit of over $5000 for the night.

Joan, you offered those as a prize for the best "Coat of Arms". They went home with the winning table. When I went back for the crate, they had already left, taking the crate with them (a misunderstanding on their part, I'm sure).

Sorry, I had completely forgotten about it, but if you let me know the size/capacity of the crate I will replace it this weekend.

All is well Deb, I thought the winning table had left before you had finished judging.& was concerned that their prize was missing. The crate is of no consequence. Thanks for clearing this up.

def did. there basically was no record of pre-orders. so you just had to tell the bar staff you pre-ordered and they tried to bump you up the queue.

Mate you wouldnt believe how many times we have said the same thing. The operating system doesnt work on Mac, but yes it did crash which is why every order had to be written in triplicate.

Maybe have people arrive a bit earlier next time to allow for those ordering food?

Pre ordering food is an issue when people cannot attend at the last minute, and a lot of people don't remember what they've ordered- waste of time, money and food!

150 people are a lot to get food all out at once guys! There were double the amount of people, and most ordered food as well on the night.

The room looked great- a fantastic improvement IMO. Redfern also employed a new chef, and the food was way better than the first quiz night held there.
