As many of you know, this year has been very difficult so far for MAD. But I am completely overjoyed to report that this is all changing. We have a revitalised committee and grand plans for 2011 and beyond.
The new executive committee is as follows:
Chairman - barfridge (aka Heisenberg, aka Jeff, aka me)
Vice Chairman - rharris (Richard)
Treasurer - pommy (Carrie)
Sexretary - Dr browncow MD (aka about a billion other names, aka Cam)
The good news
- There will be a MAD raffle bike this year. We are currently exploring options, it will be launched in September, and drawn in December.
- There will be a MAD ride this year, to be held on Sunday 6th of November, in conjunction with the Perth Motorcycle and Scooter show.
The not so good news
- Due to not being able to secure a suitable date to work within our timeframe and not impact on the other events we have planned, the MAD ball will not be held this year. But it shall return in June/July 2012.
MAD is not going anywhere, we look forward to seeing you all at our events this year. As always, we can't do what we do without the ongoing support from PSB, from Deej and the staff all the way down to the people who help out on the day, and for this we are eternally grateful.
