Nice one, thanks for that.
Did pushups on my fists the other day, so much more difficult... give it a go!

Turns out that, in the last SRAD bingle, I fucked an already dodgy wrist good and proper.
It will no longer support my substantial weight when bent at right angles.
So I have no choice but to fist (heh heh, that's my excuse and I stick to it).
Need a set of assisted-pullup-by-fingertip excercises to become climbing legend on my second time out

Well apparently you can have your beefcake days back again in 6 weeks.
Tempted to give this a shot for the hell of it - 6 weeks 'til the Avon Descent, I could use a LOT more upper body strength. And hell, I get more benefit pushing my 120kg frame up than you little buggers do. *looks at Starfish*

Seeing as I'm already doing circuits three days a week, could just incorporate this into the routine couldn't I?
Hmmmm
See how it goes.

Probably could use more than just pushups in that case - work the whole upper body, back, shoulders, arms, etc.

call me crazy as so many other do, but what if you tried sit ups would that work? or if you tried jogging and steadily increasing your distance or bench pressing or chin ups?
No offense to the postie of this thread but isnt this blatently obvious, I mean its simple resistance training and the nature of the human body is that it will create new muscle.
Didnt anyone see Conan the barbarian? Conan got huge just from pushing that massive wheel around.

So?
Don't forget that for most of us, there's a huge sykologikle hurdle between us and any kind of exercise programme.
What this does a little differently is focus on one thing that's pretty easy.
Easy to picture yourself achieving, easy to do, easy to do right, easy to measure.
