Anyone a building engineer?? Need one ASAP

Hi guys I need a building engineer to have a quick look at my patio and do up a report so I can get approvals from my local council.(city of swan)

It was built by statco and complies with all the local building regs just need the engineers report

Need this done ASAP will discuss payment ect in a call

Don't stratco patios come with pre-signed plans from an engineer?

In a previous lifetime I was a Stratco dealer, and used to install their patios.

As Timmay rightly says, Stratco have ready made sheets with all the engineering details. Part of the job for me used to be getting the shire approvals before doing the building of the patio, which should have happened in your case if it was done by a Stratco dealer.

I would first try with whoever installed the patio, failing that get in touch with Stratco ( canning vale) and ask them for a copy of the engineering sheets for their patios so you can get a shire approval for a patio that is already installed.

As a dealership we were under threat of a very large fine if we installed a patio without all the necessary approvals, I doubt that has changed.

The patio was installed with out the necessary permit for whatever reason so now I need a structural engineer to come to the property and do a report and the council says that's unconditional so the paperwork I can get from startco is no good to me (just called and checked)

So questions still out there still need an engineer

I would still ring Stratco in Canning Vale and ask the question as per what Guzziboy said. Unless you did a dodgey install yourself......

So, did Stratco install it?

If so, ring them and demand they supply the engineer and all required paperwork and approvals to council requirements as they were supposed to do that initially and could be on thin ice legally if they didn't.
