Just had a new one built....and Netplus was waaaaaaay cheaper than PLE for parts.

in recent experience, Netplus' prices have been cheaper than PLE, but once you work out which parts you want, staticice is the way to go to find the cheapest prices. I use netplus because they're just around the corner from me. Also, I use AusPCMarket a lot. They're in the eastern states, but they have a great range in stock. If you want something that they have in stock and order in the morning, you'll generally have it in your hands the next day.

Used ot use PLE al the time, but they aren't very competitve these days. I have a netplus and sutin closest to me, so theyre good and usually cheapest.

rather do it myself. As i can buy the parts take them home and build it then and there rather than waiting lol

going to cost me $1,943.00 all up was hoping i could get a few $$$ knock off it.

I have always used PLE. My sister used Netplus to build hers, took about 5 days.

If you buy Vista now, don't you get a free Win7 upgrade? I have a leaflet here on my desk that says you do. Anyway, Vista is a heap of s**t and Win7 is what Vista should have been 2-3 years ago. The choice you should be considering is XP or Win7 (or Linux ).

Bullshit. If a part is fucked or becomes fucked up you take it out and get them to replace it. You still have warranty on every part you buy

Most parts I've seen have fine print along the lines of "warranty void if installed by someone other than a qualified technician"

They can say all they want - if the product is faulty then they must replace it.
The only way they can tell you to get fucked is if there is physical damage.
