Just about to buy Zach his first "proper" bicycle and am looking for recommendations for shops in Perth.
Cheers guys.

I like Wembley Cycles. Wembley Cycles
Used to live down the road, have bought a handful of bikes from there, first for me and now the kids. They are a smaller suburban store but they love bikes.

Big props for the guys at BikeForce Myaree...North Lake Road. Very honest and high quality service.

Give TBE in Nedlands a miss. I went in there to buy accessories a few weeks ago and didn't come out happy.

TBE are good for prices, not so good for actual advice.
+1 for Wembley Cycles, the guys in there are always helpful and friendly, but they charge a tad more than some others.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon! Press the brake foot as you roll around the corners, and save the collapse and tie up.
I've banned myself from anything under 250cc.

Put an RZ engine in it then.

Any place where "the man who owns the store runs the store" will have a better chance of good service and fair prices. Likewise a franchisee who actually works behind the counter.
OTOH, a big store with sales people who wouldn't know a bike from a burger may be cheap, in every sense of the word.
Cyclemania North Perth man who owns it runs it. Great service great prices.

I second Bunny at BB Cycles. Always been helpful even when its buying something small. Sorted us out with a good deal on bikes too. He knows his stuff.
I'm torn between nuking the whole thing, and preserving it as an example of the sandiest vagina I've seen in a long whileMe: " some cop would take a photo of you the first chance you go over the limit and no one would let you merge and someone would have thrown a stubbie through your window and chased you the rest of your journey for being in pole position. "
Jim. I have bought my bikes from this company over East Road Bikes - Bikes - Road Bikes - Bike Sales, Giant Bikes, Mountain Bike, Road Bike, Bicycles
When purchasing the bikes I wanted I found that they for some reason were alot cheaper than everyone else. I ended up spending a few thousand with them and will continue to.
I have always used Joondalup Cycle City, great service and price from them. Just picked up an Avanti Torrent 3 from them for $3599 when Avanti themselves wouldn't go lower than $3899.
If going off the net as Leroy said Ivanhoe or another is The Best Fixie, Road, Mountain and City Bikes
Men have motorcycles while women have mensutral cycles, you can't talk to either while they are on it. The women's also has a sound, it goes nag-na-nag-nag-nag, biiiiiitch-bitch-biiiiiiiitch!
Avanti plus in Cannington seems to have pretty good/knowledgable staff on board.
