I have tried a tub of BSN No-Xplode and currently trying Gaspari SP250, was extremely impressed by the energy boost and crazy pumps it gave me from first try to the end of the No-Xplode tub.
Focus, energy and strength was amazing and just didn't want to leave the Gym. Definitely has alot of caffeine per scoop (guessing 100-150mg per scoop) as I don't drink coffee or tea I think the caffeine really hit me, also got some jitters during and after the workout.
Also contains Nitric Oxide (NO) ingredients and creatine, good all-round product.

The SP250 appears good, don't get the jitters, so possibly not as much caffeine. Only just started the tub.

Anyone else trying these, or thought about it?

a normal cup of coffee has around 1000mg of caffine iirc.

doubt 150mg would cause the jitters....

    maybe 1500mg?

I've read about the products, but most of that kind of stuff is marketing spew, so it's good to hear someone say it actually works.

    Nitric oxide products? hu?

Now, have you seen any physical improvement yet?

Coffee has no where near 1000mg of caffeine. Redbull has 32mg/100ml. Would guess a cup of coffee would be around the 100mg mark same as a bottle of redbull (350ml)

I have tried caffeine tabs (ordered from the US) to try to work out how much caffeine was in No-Xplode, 200mg was no jitters, 400mg (4 bottles of redbull instantaneously...) I was nearly sick, felt like someone had jammed a needle of speed or something into my body, finger was shaking violently on the mouse at work, I had to go home, no Sh!t.

Obviously peoples reactions to caffeine will differ.

The NO (Arginine) really does expand the veins, the vascularity is noticable, just the fact your energy is solid all through your workout, and you feel stronger will improve your gains, regardless on whether you believe in the ingredients. I feel my gains have been noticeable (size and tone), need to keep the water intake up as caffeine is a diuretic.

red bull. low in caffine, high in taurine.

    caffine tablet = 1000mg caffine.

I thought the packet said it was the same as a cup of coffee, but wikipedia tells me otherwise.

Redbulls & V's have the same caffeine content, and I wouldn't call them low caffeine drinks.

I've never seen 1000mg caffeine tabs, I got some 200mg ones and they were the biggest I could find from the US (this is actual caffeine content). The maximum recommended caffeine intake is around 400mg/day

Just for interest sake, Caffeine Content of Coffee & Teas (mg)

    Percolated (7 oz) CB 140
    Drip (7 oz) B&M 115-175
    Espresso (1.5-2 oz) B&M 100
    Brewed (7 oz) B&M 80-135
    Instant (7 oz) B&M 65-100
Decaf, brewed (6 oz) CB 5
Decaf, instant (6 oz) CB 3

    tea, iced (12 ozs.) B&M 70
tea, black (6 oz) CB 70
tea, green (6 oz) CB 35
    tea, instant (7 oz) B&M 30
    yerba maté, (3 g teabag) ERO 10-24
yerba maté, (10 g dried, loose) ERO 30

ignore me. I added a zero. lol it was no doze and they were 100mg. Sorry mate!

also was taking gurana tablets and drinking lots of coffee at the time (maybe thats why my memory is hazy. lol)
In the end I found I was actually incredibly exhausted and would have trouble breathing (hyperventilating I think) from the caffine.

    not good.

so I stopped all caffine. no I'm back for 4 or 5 cups of coffee a day. More if I'm studying at home, less if I'm at uni.

So you found the no-xplode was good. Wonder if it would help get me back into intensive workouts (I find if I haven't been for a while, it takes a lot more effort to make myself work hard).

Can you still get No-Doze in Aus?

If you need something to help you get to the gym and stay there would definitely recommend trying some No-Xplode. Its not cheap but can generally get it online for $85 delivered. Thats 40 serves, can take 1-3 serves per day, I was taking 2, so only 20days worth. Didn't take it when I wasn't training though.

yep you can still get it. at least, you could last year.

I think anything that can help me extend my workouts a bit would be handy. Getting back into it after a pretty long layoff (injury then laziness) and am really not hitting it hard enough. I did get some of the creatine ethyl ester caplets a while back (muscletech iirc), which I found helped with stamina also.
    Thanks for the info!

Just out of interest, are you taking the sup because you have low energy before going to the gym? or is it that you enjoy the extra energy sensation?

Was struggling around the 45min mark of a weight workout, and found I just couldn't keep focused and would just leave the gym as I was really just wasting time.

My brother suggested the NoX, he was trying it and found it amazing and had noticed some solid gains, so I thought I'd give it a go. Since I have started taking it I can definitely feel alot more soreness deep within the trained muscles the next day or two. Whether this is just due to the fact you train 25% harder with the added energy and focus I don't know. The two people I personally know who have tried it (and still on it) rave about it. It contains creo as well, which we all know is one product that has been proven to work.

I would say that if you drink copious amounts of coffee (or redbull etc) every day, the kick might not be as pronounced as what I feel.
