I'm also a Zest member and train (cardio, weights) at Osy Park, with the occasional visit to Kingsway, Joondalup or even Vic Park, depending on class timetable needs.

Used to train quite hard, but as age advances I have backed off a little because it just takes longer to recover from an injury, and I get all antsy if I can't exercise.

Hey, maybe it is true - you do get wiser as you get older!!! But then why did I decide to get my motorbike license at age 45 ???

Healthy Life Hillarys (formerly Kicks) Don't you just love the name?

Haven't been in 2 weeks though. I find it very hard to be motivated to get back into gym-junkie routine when by the time I finish work it's dark and I have a 30-45min journey home to do.

Bayswater Martial Arts and Yoga Centre

That reminds me, it's late notice but I'd like to extend an invitation to the martial artists on PSB to attend a seminar at our Centre this Saturday 31 May from 11.30am - 1.30pm. It will be held by Renshi Chris Mazzali, 6th Dan, a senior student of Patrick McCarthy and an accredited Koryu Uchinadi instructor.

If you have heard of Patrick McCarthy, his research into realistic karate and his groundbreaking 2-person drills then you will know that this is a seminar not to be missed.

Full details and Youtube videos of Chris Mazzali’s drills can be found at http://wuweidao.blogspot.com/2008/05/seminar-by-chris-mazzali-next-saturday.html

Hope you can make it. The cost will be a very reasonable $20 per person. Numbers are limited so please contact me if you wish to come along.
