Kramfs Tech Chronicles Choppy video when viewing 1080p using VLC
Something like star wars of starship troopers was almost unwatchable before, kept breaking up and going blocky. Now it's as clear as 1080 should be

1080p Star Wars? Are you taunting me, Mister Fridge? Ripped from the digital TV runs?

not sure of the source, but they are about 8-10gig each, bring over a hard drive or USB key and they're all yours.

Installing the Media Player Classic codecs helps to reduce CPU usage alot too, as long as you have a DXVA capable video card (most DX10 cards) and capable drivers.
Nvidia seems to do this out of the box, but certain ATI drivers seem to work whilst others don't.
