    HTC Desire screen

Has anyone had any success with screen protectors for the Desire?
The screen is so shiny it's unusable anywhere other than indoors.

Ebay generally have a decent selection, at a low price! I buy all mine from there. Be careful of the 'privacy screens' though. As, they are so matte, that its even harder to see anything outdoors.

Missus got one on hers from one of the stalls in Morley Galleria, near the bottom of the escalators

Not sure if Otterbox make a case with an integrated matt screen (I have for the HD) Is it the original OLED or the SuperLCD? Also, do you have brightness set on auto or is it a manual setting? TBO, not many large screen smartphones fare well in bright sun. Much like LCD screens on the back of POS cameras and why a proper viewfinder has some years left
