iPhone 4S vs iPhone 4 vs Galaxy S II - The Ultimate Comparison! | Redmond Pie
seems there are conflicting stories
Hmm, I really like my Android phone, it suits me for my own reasons. I am sure iPhone owners feel the same. People can agree to disagree, but should this thread be reduced to that? Ie, the "mine is better " discussion is being done to death again...
Yep, and iOS5 still requires iTunes to sync...
No, that's not the only 'mistake'
EDIT: You won't get away from it Skut. Someone will always be bitter about something.
I know. It's just a device right? It's OK if you like a different one to me.
It is not about what is better, I loved my iphone when I had it, but I moved on. It is more about false information used.
I mean seriously, you think the SGS II would be so popular if the battery only lasted 3 hours?
thats about what it comes done to skut, I've tryed the android phones and they don't suit me, the iphones do. I also run an apple operating environment so it all fits in a bit better for me. I'm not saying Apple is perfect but there are alot of haters out there who hate simply BECAUSE it's apple and so the image doesnt fit them and they are different to the masses, like everyone else.
You're holding on too tight Mav. Let it go.
I'm a bit bloody excited about getting my hands on one anyway. Just so I can see how good the Android guys have had it for the past 2 years
I mean, iOS5 is going to make the 4 much slicker anyway. I don't know how much noticeable the rest of the 'fluff' will be.
I sold my 3GS for $350 today.
Don't get me wrong, I would happily weigh in on an iOS vs Android thread, but I thought this was about..... Awwww, screw it, inevitable really
I would love to see a list of the 200 iOS updates.
I've seen a lot of them... but 200? How many of those are dev integrations and how many are end user features?
I love the new notification bar on iOS... I also love the WiFi syncing - And it actually works!
As stupid as it sounds, those two features are huge for me. WiFi syncing is something I've been using on my Android devices for a while now (although I have to manually initiate it)... The ability to sync via WiFi is awesome. Especially to have it done automatically when connected to power.
I've got the iOS5 GM installed on my iPad, and am quite looking forward to having an iPhone again now that notifications are Android like, the device doesn't need to be JB'd to make the lockscreen useful, WiFi syncing, iCloud performing similar functions to what I've been experiencing with GMail/GoogleCal since I've been on Android as well.
As for a list of features?

My AU Apple ID is just a username, rather than an email address. Its pretty old I suppose, back from 2003 when I got my first iPod.
Nowadays they make you use your email address for an Apple ID.
Anyway, I also registered a US iTunes account, at which point my username was my email address.
No problems so far.
Now introduce iCloud... Apple have decided that you can't use an older style Apple ID with it, you have to associate an email address with it. So I try to associate my email address with my Apple ID... But that isn't allowed since I have that email address associated with my US Apple ID.
I don't really want to use my US Account since I've only made a couple of purchases on that one and pretty much everything else is on my AU account.
Apple aren't very helpful so far in this either. They don't allow you to merge two IDs together at this stage.
Is there a single post in this trainwreck even remotely about the new phone?
