Internet Explorer 8

I've used IE since they started using tabs because well, It's never been a problem with me. Now with IE 8 it seems slow, Tabs take a few seconds to open instead of instantly now and the whole thing just seems slow. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes i know wah wah use a better browser IE sucks etc

On windows 7 ie8 is great. Seems to be a pig on anything else though. (even vs vista on same machine)
