+1 for Optus.
Best pricing by far, aside from being Optus and all.

Optus for sure...
Good luck finding one though, I suspect you will have a minimum 3-4 week wait at best.

Yeah, for all the people who are already waiting...
Friday being launch day, I'd say they probably got in the first shipment.
You, my friend, might not be so lucky.
Edit: Oh and who the fuck believes a phone salesperson?

If you want to record videos, then go and grab a dedicated DV cam, the iPhone isn't and never will be a video device, it's just not in it's design brief, even the camera is a bit of a courtesy.
And yes, itunes on the PC fucking sucks.

It breaks down, is clunky and unsecure.
Well, it was last time I used it, but I've not had a PC in over 2 years so it may well be better by now.

I've been using it it XP over two different computers for about two or three years with zero dramas.
"Clunky and unsecure" doesn't mean a great deal to me.
You nerds may nitpick, but for the average user it's schweeeeet

A cupla questions.....
but first, on our 4 year old PC, Itunes works fine, (XP), one of the kids has an ipod thingy and all seems to be sweet.
But the questions......while I don't understand the fuss over the iphone, I can accept that some people want one.
But why would you queue for hours, some reportedly overnight for it??? I mean queueing for tickets to a concert or a sporting event is one thing, but will the world stop revolving if you get your iphone at midday as opposed to 0830hrs????
Just curious....in the same manner as people went and purchased Vista at midnight???? Why?????
It's still for sale today.
Does anyone reckon there's much of a market for a phone that makes calls, sends TXT and perhaps even has a camera????? Surely it would be pretty cheap, yet still be pretty functional.
Or am I just being a square??

Ah, so you understand why people queue for concert tickets but not gadgets?
It's the same principle... Get in before they sell out.
