T-Roid, they are a LOT more than a phone, push technologies, browsing, exchange integration.

Just like every other phone on the market.
iPhones, N95, Samsung's new thing, the SE equivalent - they're all overpriced, and when they were released they were overrated. Only difference now is that the iPhone is at the forefront of the news. Can someone tell me, apart from the usual tricks (phone, mail, camera, music, GPS, wifi) and the multi touch screen, what does the iPhone have?
And don't tell me that OMG the SDK was released and that makes it so much better. Please, just dont.

Works
(srsly, have you read any other posts in this thread?)
The iPhone is the ducks nuts, but i fear the data pricing will hamper me actually owning one and using it properly

Don't get me wrong, the interface seems to be excellent, and my limited experience with the one on the touch appears to be good, but are you ever going to use the features??

What's it got?
For me the appeal is in:
- large screen size / phone size ratio.
- very slick, frustration free interface.
- GPS (eventually with decent onboard maps)
- a phone.
- wifi, maybe with the possibility of a skype phone at home. maybe not. meh
Yep, it's an iPod Touch with GPS and phone.

No doubt you wont have to send it back in the first 2 weeks to get repaired.. Nor should you have to wait for the 3 second delay after pushing any button on the n95!

I honestly don't mind my N95.
Usually there's no delay searching through contacts, maybe 0.5 to 1 second for opening messages.

Thats not too bad.. Most of the people I know that have them think that they are Poo and waste of time, But then again each to their own!
Personally I'd prefer the iPhone. or the New HTC thats been released as the "iPhone Killer" which has had some good reviews.
