Nerds - Anyone interested in a LAN? 17th Jan.

So on a recent PSB ride I heard one lad comment to another that he wasn't going for the ride, as he was attending a LAN.

It perked my ears up, as I host a LAN now and then.

Would anyone be interested in a LAN at my place in Vic Park? Im having one soon, Sat 17th. We usually get around 7-12 people to come along and play mainly COD4. I do this about every second week (life and work sometimes gets in the way) I run my own server so a genuine copy is not needed, but your own computer is. There is room for more, but I need definate numbers. Its usually a good night - booze is ok, in fact, sometimes encouraged

Not much file leeching goes on, but its a gigabit network so if the desire is there - the speed is too.

Alrighty - sorry bout the lack of reply - im at work so its only nbow and then that I get to reply.

Yup COD4 less than leagl is ok - If you dont have a copy then dont go out and buy it - just instal from one of my/my friends legit disks. Like I said I run my own server so you can connect to that, even remotely, so those not wishing to lug gear to my house can connect direct to my IP address. The only downside to that is your ping will be around 120, when everyone else at the LAN will be around 10-40.

Got some mad Starcraft players, but we usually do play just COD4, but anyone can make a suggestion - we dont all have to play the same game at the same time. CSS, L4D and tf2 would be fun, im sure.

There is room for a 30 inch monitor - my mate has one and most of us use the 24 inch Dells so thats all good.

If you are interested in coming on the 17th, (Noted about the nekkid ladies - there will be more LAN's ) then PM me and I will swing you my address.

Busy that night, but a few of us on here sometimes get a bit of LAN action going.
Usually Trackmania, UT2004, Tribes 2, and just recently Left4Dead.
Keep posting them up, hope to make it along one time
