BC2 question...

When you die and are at the selection screen... I presume that is when on the map you are shown as dead but a medic can come and revive you..

Therefore I am wondering if you hit the "Enter battle" button even though it is still counting down does that take you off the map as such in regards to being available to be revived... I was wondering as I like to play a medic but was thinking if someone wanted to change class then the last thing they might want is you reviving them and if selecting "Enter battle" does that?

I think it was RTCW that you could basically stay "dying" waiting for a medic and if you knew one was around you could wait or otherwise hit the button to respawn?

That happened to me. I was a rifleman and my squad was pinned in a house by snipers. I wanted to change to a sniper so I could fight at such long range but someone kept reviving me

I don't remember if I had pressed "Enter Battle" before I was revived.

Problem is there's a good chance I'll be on wireless broad from these people: Seriously fast 4G wireless broadband in Perth | vividwireless Does anyone know if it's suitable for XBox live/general online games, or is it as bad as satellite internet was back in the days when people still used satellite internet?

If you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, it's really the only alternative.
When I was at DET there were a bunch of homesteads that had gubbmint installed satellite gear so kids could learn over the tubes.

Put simply, it will be no competitor to good old DSL2 (provided you can get it)..
The 4G thing is an unknown at this point. I'd head over the tardpool and ask them, as there's bound to be some nerd that uses it.
Also, it'll probably depend how good a mobile signal you get at your place as well, whether your microwave is on, what the whether is like, whether a pelican is sitting on the tower, etc. So it might compare to DSL for best case scenario conditions, but your actual mileage will vary.

Look at Failstra's NextG shit.
Says it'll pip 24mbit, but both of us know that's a pipe dream. 2.4mbit is probably closer to the mark...

I just 100%'d Force Unleashed on PS3, including all DLC.
I might as well put the game behind glass in a frame, because I doubt I'll ever play it again now.

nice, i played a bit of that, mainly for throwing storm troopers around and getting their mates to hold onto each other

also if u wanna borrow some ps3 games spud let me know i have quite a bit that i dont play much anymore thanks to bad company 2 and generally the pc, ps3 mostly gets used at a media box so i can stream movies from the pc to the tv

On another issue, the new map in Rush wont append to the list even though I have added it to the servers maplist.txt and rebooted.

I've raised a ticket with Hypernia support, they are waiting on DICE support.

Hopefully they get it fixed soon enough...

I've heard really mixed reviews about this. I just got it for PC but haven't gotten around to it yet - I shan't expect it'll live up to the Jedi Knight series which (coming from a non Star Wars fan) were some of the best games I've played... but is it any good?

I mean you 100%'d it so it must have been orright but would you rave about it?
