    Hi all.

I am putting the feelers out in case anyone is aware of a lawyer looking for a part-time (2 days per week) restricted practitioner. I have recently been admitted and unfortunately the position I had lined up fell through. I am happy to work for "free" for a period provided they are happy to pay for my practicing certificate and PI insurance with law mutual (e.g happy to work for nothing until I have billed the approximately $7,000 this will cost them). This is dependent on the Legal Practice Board signing off on the 2 days per week counting towards my restricted practice period but they have been very reasonable to me in the past. Can supply references from my previous supervising lawyer and head of school. Cheers, Chris.

P.s. would also be happy to work full-time but could not start for less than $65,000/year (incl. super).

hi guys, anyone looking for slave labourer?
my brother in law is fresh out of school and is in need of a job, living with me and is reliable. he has worked at hungry jacks for a year now and thats about as far as his skills go.
he will be starting a pre-app in mech fitting and machining and would love to get some hands on in any relevant area, basically anything on the tools and under a tradesman that can show him what the world is all about.
probably better to pm me if you know of anything available pref kewdale/welshpool/forrestfield or close as no license yet
not everyone wants to pickup trash from the side of the road, leave it for the crims and the junkies.

If anyone knows of any (senior) Software Engineering opportunities down south (Busselton/Bunbury) or alternatively positions that would allow for telecommuting with maybe one day a week in a Perth office, I have my feelers out as I am building down that way and am going to need to switch jobs.

There are two ways to get a job in the mining industry.

    1. Nepotism

    2. Go to an employment agency that specialises in the mining industry and put your name down to apply as a contractor. Then ring them everyday until they give you a job.

Now get off your scrawny arse and start emailling your resume. I don't want to see you posting in this thread again until you are earning two grand a week for doing fuck all, like the rest of us.

    Dear Annoying Cousin

Simple Instructions For Getting A Job In the Mining Industry

    1. Get a yellow pages directory, not a fucken iphone
    2. Select a number of employment agencies that recruit for the mining industry
    3. Ring them and request an interview.
    4. In the interview bullshit about how much you value safety, your experiences and qualifications.
    5. Ring them repeatedly until they give you a job

I don't have a lot of contacts I used to, but grapevine tells me barminco just lost a lot of folks at sunrise dam and will need to replace them quick smartish.

They are placing a lot of green operators EVERYWHERE. NRW are definitely on a hiring spree at the moment, a couple of sites I may know of are just about to move to nightshift as well so they will be looking to add another 50% to their workforce.

PS - Mr Redfern, I can check if we have any internal referral type program - I vaguely remember they do.

Barminco and Sunrise Dam are probably looking for a set of people to deal with a very specific set of skills with a piece of software.

I might be able to show this to you which *might* help you get a foot in a door, maybe, possibly, incredibly long shot.

Hit me up if you want to see more mate.

What is deemed a green operator?? no mine experience or no machine experience?? I only ask because i have basic experience on several machines (small by mine standards) so do not consider myself green. But its not what i consider
