The Technical Services department is accountable for providing expertise in mining engineering, mine survey, mine geology, hydrogeology and geotechnical engineering within the business. For a Hydrogeology Technical Assistant, this means working alongside an array of professionals collecting and managing hydrogeological monitoring data as well as assisting to co-ordinate dewatering activities to ensure groundwater does not interfere with mining activities.

You will receive context and support from the Superintendent of Technical Services and Mine Hydrogeologist. Your diligence in collecting and validating data as well as ensuring it is accurately recorded in the database system will form the basis to coordinating the actions of the specialists across your wider Geosciences team.

The following attributes will serve you well in this role:
Familiarity with mining production, drilling rigs and dewatering systems
Experience in data collection and groundwater monitoring
Knowledge of EnviroSys or other database systems and data validation techniques
Ability to communicate at all levels

Position Description
Assist with the definition, formulation and maintenance of the ***** Aftermarket Operations Reporting Package. Provide support in the areas of spare parts price contracts, spare parts pricing, inventory control, item master integrity. Participate as an active team member on special projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of the ***** aftermarket. Be a key liaison between the customer, customer service, regional parts managers and Aftermarket Operations.

 Customer Pricing updates, ***** Buy Price updates and maintenance, Customer Pricing Agreements Updates and Maintenance, Various data integrity tasks etc.
 Participate in standardizing inventory derived policy and procedures for regional rollout

 Participate in annual price updates, exchange rate maintenance, standard cost rolls

 Participate as an active team member in special projects
 Play a key role in the development and implementation of AMO reporting package
 Assist Inventory Controller in all aspects related to increasing the efficiency of Net Working Capital.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Level of education required:
 Computer literate – Pronto, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel (Medium to High), Access
 Bachelors Degree

Experience Level:
 Minimum 4 years relevant experience, preferably in heavy industrial equipment or mining industry
 Previous experience computerised ERP systems
 Data base/reporting systems
