Through i start a topic for Star Wars: The Old Republic
It looks like it won't be coming to Australia till March but it has been confirmed that there will be no blocking of the day if you import it and start playing now.
So who has a copy? and how is going to get one?
Damn.. might have to decide between this and Skyrim... no way I will have time for both.
What is the deal with importing it... have to play on US servers, or even when it gets released here it will still be US servers so we might as well get it now????
My boy got it as a preorder from Amazon, and got the code for a digital download. It's pretty big so he got a copy of the Beta from his mate, and downloaded some patches so he could play. He's been playing for a week solid now, so much so he's going to cose his WOW account.
It does look much better. Better graphics, moral decisions (like mass effect), and starship battles. Crafting is a bit better I think... don't want to spoil it to much, but I am tempted in getting it... and forgoing my xbox live...

It's been great fun so far, engaging storyline and fun questing...it's kinda like Mass Effect just bigger...lots of fun!!

Amazon wont email me it, and i'd have to wait for it to be delivered, and I cant buy it through Origins because of country.

I think the boy only got his key as it was pre-order.. he is playing on a europe server, and not having any real lag problems.. apart from those associated with our crappy adsl speed

Just bought a key from that mmoga.com place.. jumped through hoops to 'verify' my paypal.. hopefully they verify me soon so I can start downloading this shiz tonight.
I quit WoW about a year ago so this should be fun for a while.

Fine for me, usually sit around 230ms and haven't had too many issues with lag or stuttering etc

Probably going to be playing on Veela (US) in a Goon guild.
Ive been playing for about a week now, Im on Anchorhead Server, getting 300ms regularly.. Very playable, very VERY polished for a recently launched MMO, theres always gonna be haters, and it does need a few tweaks (loop music option plz), other then that its fantastic, the combat is fun, and the story telling is enthralling.
Is that music playing the whole entire game?
After a few minutes of trumpets and whatnot I start to unravel.
mind to pm where you are downloading from... keen to play and will most likely just buy key online
