Outlook issue

Every time I start Outlook it wants to receive EVERY email for the past 3 weeks.

Any way to stop this shit?

check accoutn settings and make sure it's not set to leave a copy of the emails on the server.

go to
Tools -> Email Accounts
click on account and hit edit/change, whatever it is.
click on "more settings"
then click on "advanced" tab
check that "leave copy of emails on server" isn't ticked.

also check you are actually downloading ALL e-mails. If it stops halfway or three quarters then it does it again.

Easy way to get rid of it is to log in to your e-mails manually and delete the ones you have.

This can also happen if you've set up an IMAP account rather than a POP account. IMAP accounts keep things synchronised, and sometimes have a spack attack - especially GMail accounts.
