Feral Brewery. The best roo I've tasted so far and excellent beer to boot. Plus you can go through the wineries and make a day of it. I can honestly say it destroys Little Creatures and Zebras, though both do a good plate.

Windsor in S.Perth was one of the best.. not sure if they still have roo on menu
However, FJ and Uncle Ho (MyFX) are 2 examples of people that dont fit this genre but fit into the forum well as well respected members.

road kill even cheaper
Queens has roo on the menu for about $26.
Used to work there, it is one of their better dishes.

Spot on. It's not expensive meat to buy and it's healthy. My wife does them with a marinade of Olive Oil, Soy Sauce, Rosemary and Garlic. No more than medium cooked and let it rest for five minutes after cooking. We have them in 'Skippy Wraps' with tomato, lettuce and sour cream. Chili Sauce if you must.
Yum.
Please, call me Flash...
heya
in mt lawley there's a hot rocks restaurant or something like that...
I went there about 3 weeks ago and it was awesome... had kangaroo, emu, crocodile and buffalo?!...
And the lamb chops were good too...
Its an experience... as you get to cook the meat yourself etcif you have an entertainment book, there is a voucher in there for it too

I would go with this option if they want the real aussie experience. Or just hire a 4wd head north or south of perth at night and wait till a roo jumps out cut off a few bits throw them on the exhaust manifold drive a bit more till cooked crack a long neck of EMU Export eat the roo drink the export go home bash the missus.......... Doesn't get more OZ than that and that way they have tried Roo and Emu and sampled the culture
