a couple of questions i dont know the answer too
Is it better to gym in the morning and the evening or both
And is it better to eat something prior to the gym or after or again both
As soon as the stitches come out next week, the ego is released into preseason training.

It all comes down to personal preferences for both questions. Some people are morning people (I hate it, I'm very stiff early in the morning).
Regarding fasted, same thing. Some people love it and perform really well fasted others do better with a meal.
Give them a shot and see what works for you.
Unfortunately there is no truth to that Nanobear.

Yep as Xua said the best time to train is when you train the hardest.

next question (btw thanks Xuaxace for the prior comments) would there be any problems doing cardio aka running twice a day early morning and evening, because im considering when i start work again going to the gym at 4, and going to work then doing another session about 9pm that night along with weights as well
basically i weigh 108.7kg according to my gyms scales and I am 180 cm tall so im trying to reduce my fat.....alot
The weight plates equate to 5kg on all of the Synergy3 pin loaded machines other than the Omni Leg Press & Squat machines, which are equivalent to 10kg plates. For further info on the logic of numbering the weight plates please refer to the attached article.

Personally, I do the running at least an hour after a meal, but all the weights are done directly following one.

The gym is walking distance from the kitchen.
I wouldn't do any leg workout after food or I'd feel sick too, but my upperbody is small and girlish so as long as I don't crack a fat, there is enough blood to not have to worry about the digestive system being pushed down the pecking order.

Pre workout snack should be protein + low GI carbs. I have whey protein blended with weetbix before my weights sessions. Probably about 90mins before I train. Then 30 minutes before I take my serving of pre-workout (usually Jack3d, but I'm currently using Mesomorph & it's actually pretty good).
20 minutes after the gym I'll have a whey protein shake mixed with honey (simple carbs). Then 60-90 minutes later I'll have my proper meal.
Best time to weight train is when you feel your best. There's no point in training in the evening (because people said you 'should') if you feel like crap. I like to train early in the morning. Its when I feel best and gets me energised for the day.

well done Mr Nanobear

So, this thread has been inactive for a bit. Any particular reason, PSB? Due to the summer break, perchance? Due to too many beers and too many good times with friends and family? Having too much fun in the sun, enjoying various fun-filled activities other than training? Well bullshit to that, your weights are lonely and your gym looks like it's straight outta Pripyat. The weights in particular are emotionally devastated, I don't even think they'll let you grasp them in your fat, sweaty palms again. Your gym itself is about to go under because it can't support itself without you, and the guy you secretly buy roids from (no, roids are not supplements you cheating prick, stop trying to theoretically neutralise your crimes) hasn't been able to score smack off your money for the past four weeks.
So tell me; how many of you slack NYR bastards have quit so far? How many of you NYR tools are going to lose motivation within the next week/month? How many of you non-NYR bastards have slacked off over the Chrissy/New Year break? How many of you have failed to pick up heavy shit and put it down again? Why haven't you been able to resist having fun outdoors and enjoying social events, huh? The fuck is wrong with you?
What's your sorry excuse, PSB? Don't lie to me, I can always tell when you're lying. It's in your LACK OF GAINZ.
This is Konstantin Konstantinovs. He train from child.
He does what you won't today so he can do what you can't tomorrow.
I am hot on it bro, well that is I was......
I started a new high intensity cross fit style of training as the next of my always exciting gym/size/fitness experiments. The Mentzer program is off the boiler while I try and lean up for my wedding.
Then on Saturday night at an engagement party i have clearly lived a scene from the movie Contagion and been infected with some sort of monkey virus that has given me a very mild sore throat and left me a bit lethargic. Just fatal enough to stop me training this week, with the intention to get back into the gut busting high speed, short rest, moderate weight regime on Thursday.
