PSB Valentines day idea pool

Well folks that day is coming around again. normally i'm without a lady come Feb 14th, but this year i have one and she's bat shit crazy excited.

so i'm suggesting everyone pool their ideas so we can all have an easy stress free day and night. if you've got a good one, post it up. if you've had something awesome done for you, post it up. if you've got a rohypnol dealer, post it up. you know the drill.


so my plan this year (she's got the morning covered, i'm on the night) is hitting up the re store, getting some delicious cheese, small goods, anti pasto etc. and a nice bottle of bubbles and going for a good picnic somewhere. i'm not sold on a position for said picnic though, suggestions?

for people looking for an idea, one year i went down to Jacksons art supply and bought some "edicol" which is powdered food dye. mixed it really strong in a herbicide sprayer and on the beach wrote her a love note. it's a food product and i had the MSDS for it; it's enviro frendily (vege dye) so anyone hippy concious need not worry. she loved it, and other people that saw it loved the idea too (i gave the sprayer to a dude who was in the crap with his lady, hope it all worked out for him)

its all well and good to make agreements like that but next week she will be talking to her buddies who will be telling her about how they had romantic dinners and got lovely flowers and bracelets and she'll tell them about your agreement and on the outside she'll be like but on the inside she'll be like

Always hated V-day, but it's even worse when you have both agreed that it's just another day and shouldnt be turned commercial for us like it is for everyone else, and she decides to do something for you.

+1, i reckon this would happen as even though its a Severely over commercialised day chicks always love valentines day even if they say they dont!!!!!

What makes it especially problematic for me is that the lady friend's birthday is on the 14th, so if I want to do something like go to dinner on her birthday there are always loads of other people doing shit so you have to book things in advance, compete for service in full restaurants and some places have set menus for the day etc.

And in this year's case, we had something arranged with her family which they have had to pull out of and now its hard to organise something alternative on a couple of days notice :/

I'm sure you can come up with something special for your special lady anyway and just tell yourself it's a bday thing and not a Vday thing!
