I've always been a fan of Vaja cases (out of Argentina) for the best in quality leather custom made cases. I had them on iPaq's and older smartphones and have never been disappointed. So it was natural to look for a Vaja case for my iPhone3G for some protection.

- Vaja Choice -

With Vaja, you get to pick from heaps of styles, and then get to completely customise it. With some cases you even get to choose what type of leather you want - soft, hard, supple, etc. Then you pick colours, both external and internal. Then any further customisation such as laser engraved names, logos, etc.

Basically, I couldn't chose one so I got two! One is a half case (back protection only) and the other is a full case but open screen. you can get one with a drop down flap, but i dun like them as when you talk on the phone you have this droopy flap hanging down to your shoulder! on all their cases the camera is free to use, and the bottom has a neat cutout so the speakers are open and you can sync/charge with the case on.

Here's some dodgy pics for you to get an idea of them:

Okay, the obvious downside: so they're not cheap. the half-case (iVolution Grip) was US$60 and the full-case (iVolution SP) was US$90, and shipping from Argentina via FedEx was US$29. Lead time was a little over a month, as they do not stock any cases and all are made to order.

Including delivery and order confirmation time, it took about 6 weeks from order to delivery today.

BUT - they are without a doubt the best case you'll ever find, the softest leather yet hardest wearing, and also the most interesting and sure to start a conversation merely on your case!
