"Once you can have people more frightened of disorder than tyranny, it enables you to do almost anything you like so far as legislation is concerned." Chief Judge Antoinette Kennedy, 26/3/2010.
"The State must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation." Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf

Putting a fresh install of Windows on the internet is like giving a nymphomaniac a job at an STD clinic and then slipping viagra into their coffee. It may seem like a good idea at the time, but trust me, it isn't.R class test passed - Eligible to shadow R-E 26/05/13, R 26/05/14

The 3 user editions of windows home premium are awesome value, same story with office 07. Costs a bit more but will save you dosh overall.
And just to add a little bit of useless info. I have officially decided that windows 7 is equally as stable as ubuntu, and that is saying somethingI've been taking a record of instances of instability occuring and ubunutu has the lead by one instance over roughly 3 months of usage.
PSB - It doesn't matter how right you are. If you aren't in with the crowd who thinks they are the in crowd because they post a lot, then you are wrong.

Thanks for the links, just got Office Home and student 3 pack for $99 from netplus

Only Office Home and Student has a 3 user license.
My Mum's partner got sucked in by ebay sellers selling Office 2007 Professional and marketing them as 3 user licenses. Wrong. Clearly states that it is Home and Student on the packaging and fail to activate when you try.
(They are licensed for 2 'users' - a laptop and a desktop though)
I rang Microsoft and they wouldn''t do anything about it other than deny the oblivious user (we're not all geeks) a second or third activation. I don't understand why they wouldn't follow up on the misleading sale of their product.
Anyone know anything about this?
