World's Greatest Shave

So who else is going to participate in the World's Greatest Shave this year?

For those of you who don't know, The Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave is one of Australia’s biggest fundraising events. Money raised is used by the Leukaemia Foundation to fund free services to support patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. It also funds blood cancer research to find better treatments and cures. More information can be found here.

I've sposored friends in the past who've coloured their hair but this year i'm going to be "Brave and Shave" I'm hoping there will be others that get behind the cause by either colouring or shaving their hair also. If not then please sponsor someone... someone like me!

how did everyone else go with the shave and their fundraising? as an individual i've raised almost $3000 so far $1500(ish) online and the remainder in cash and cheques i'm yet to deposit. people were still donating and sponsoring me last night at St. Pat's Day celebrations

i saw my first photo of my head from a side profile last night and by crikey i look bald!! whitest scalp i've ever seen!! now i guess i'll have to suffer the horrible "growing out" phase

remember people, it's not too late to still donate to the cause and all donations over $2 are tax deductible

good on you Rebel250 supporting someone doing it is still a massive part of the event. i found support and sponsorship came from some highly unlikely sources and it meant all the more to me

i thought about getting a number 2 cut, but figured what the hell, i'll practically be bald anyway and it'll grow back soon enough.... (hopefully?)
