    Answer to post disappeared

    Hi guys
I've received an email notifying me an answer to my post in the sale section, and it doesn't appear on the forum.
    Any idea why?
    My thread is here

    4500$ 2002 650 svs

And here is the link received in the email

    For Sale 4500$ 2002 650 svs

    Cheers

if it wasnt an offer or question about the bike it was probably deleted by a mod for breaking the for sale thread rules

    Correct...

    2 posts have been removed...

It will be due to them being termed "thread shitting"...

Stuff like..."awww my mates selling his way cheaper than that"...

Ah ok, one was quite positive though, the one I received the notification:

Here is the message that has just been posted:
    ***************
had a look at this last weekend....its vgc

    free bump
    ***************

I assume vgc is very good condition, the poster came to see the bike last week end, and was really nice, though the bike did not suit his use, seemd a fair comment...

Ah well, doesn't matter, but it would be good to have a notification when a post is deleted as well, to avoid confusion...

    Thanks guys anyway

We tried the notification system. It just ended up with people whinging everytime a post was deleted.

Threadshitting in FS will not be tolerated

Bumping this. Unless you actually intend to view the bike, purchase it, or require additional information/clarification, please do not post in for sale adds. General comments such as "Wow, nice bike...." or "Wish you had posted this 3 months ago...." are not welcome, and will be deleted
