    Attached images

It seems as though one of the forum upgrades has changed something with the attached images.

Before, when you would centre click (/scroll button click), the attached image would open in a new tab. Now it just goes to that poxy blacked-out background and pop-up image, as if you'd just left-clicked on the image.

It only happens with images attached to posts, like this one, not images hosted elsewhere.

    Cheers.

unfortunately that's the direction vBulletin has gone with their software. as the image is directly attached to the post and stored in the database, the software decides how to view it. i can take a look at trying to mod it back, but i've got enuf on my plate for now, so it'll be a back, back burner matter sorry.

    Yeah, fair call.
Retarded decision by vBulletin though. Forces you to stop what you're doing to look at the image, and if you scroll at all the whole goddamn lot disappears.

FYI when I middle click it opens an image in a new tab...

Right click -> Open in new tab. Probably depends on how your scroll wheel is assigned/possibly which browser you're using too.
