Can't change my avatar pic

So I got rid of my old one by selecting don't use avatar but can not upload a new one. It keeps saying file upload failed. I made sure the pic is under 150x150 and 19.5kb, still no love...

Can any mods or admin see if there is something wrong with my account?

Also while we're at it can anyone tell me how to reduce the file size (kb's) of a pic without having to reduce the pixel size by so much? To get the kb's to under the 19.5 I have to reduce the size of my pic to about 100x100.

It always says upload failed (well it always has for me) but would still change it. But a few weeks ago I tried uploading one, it said upload failed (as per usual) but wouldn't display the new one. The next day it appeared though... *shrugs*

While we're at it, I can't upload pics into an existing album.

It's not just you, I can't change my avatar either. Have tried several different pictures, and tried images from the interweb and from my computer, it still doesn't work. Please help!

Ive found since the last update, you have to delete the temp files to see anyone's new avatar, not just your own.

So, I WAS Sybil for a while? As far as I knew I was still Bowman from 2001. I will have to be more careful in the future...

Still can't seem to sort my sig out either, doesn't matter what pic I load up, it always ends up being my avatar.

Have tried deleting temp internet files etc, doesn't seem to make a difference!

We have a pretty long caching period for static images as they don't change a great deal, as discovered just clear your cache.
