Could this also be changed from $5600 to $5200

    Thanks

PS; How does one change a thread title themselves, or can't they?

Under advanced you can Change the title, but after a certain time you can no longer edit the original post..

Is it a bug or a feature that when you change the title, it only changes it for the first post, and not the thread?

ie. I listed an item for sale.
    Sold it.
Changed the title to indicate that it had been sold.
But when I look in the 'new posts' or 'subscribed threads' list, it is the OLD title.
When I view the thread, the first post has the corrected title.

Can demonstrate with a pic if required but give it a shot and you'll see what I'm talking about.

    Should I raise this separately?

That's been happening for a loooong time, I usually ask a Mod to do the 'Title' for me, would be good if it worked properly though

But, if @Brougham is going to bang on about being a supporter so we can modify our own posts, or upgrade so we have a larger window of opportunity, when it doesn't work, then he should shut up about it make sure it works.

Rog Brougham, that worked. Nice one.

The functionality has changed slightly though. It's gone back to the old days.

Before you made the change just now, you could edit the title without having to go to 'advanced'.
Now, you have to go to advanced to change it... but at least it actually updates.

Not to be too high maintenance, but can we keep it so we can edit the title simply by editing the post and not having to go to advanced?
Only if it's relatively easy to do.
No biggie if you can't, it's not that important.

    Thanks for fixing!

what i've actually done is reintroduce the 'quick edit' function that we had disabled due to clashes with other items.
it's a lot faster to simply edit a post this way, and given majority of edits are posts only, probably a better way to keep it.
I'll leave it as it is for now, and see what the feedback is. i know a lot were not happy when it was removed.

    Cool. I'm happy with that.

    Thanks for sorting it.

You may now continue to bang on about supporter-ship at will.
