Help
This may be a stupid question, so be nice. The fuel gauge on my Honda CBF250 is flashing a single tiny bar @ me. Forgot I needed fuel. What happens if I run out of fuel completely whilst riding along the freeway to the nearest servo? IE: Am I likely to fly over the handlebars, or just cruise to a frustrating but safe stop? I'm guessing there would be spluttering before either one happened though? Also, There is the reserve. If I switch to that, how far am I likely to get? The nearest servo is 8km away along the freeway.
I would have posted this on the roadside assist section, but everything bar this section is listed as private and I can't seem to post?

If you run out, it'll just splutter and die. Clutch in, coast to a stop.
Reserve tanks vary, but somewhere in the 30 kilometer range I'd say.

Thanks. I'll give it a whirl and hope for the best. Just don't fancy being stuck in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night.
Can you post to other parts of the forum, or is just me locked out for some reason? It was working fine this morning :s

Got to the servo fine on the reserve. Thanks for the help. I also resolved my forum issue. I changed my e-mail earlier & the forum had locked me out till I verified the new address. All fixed now
Thanks again!
