the screen message says 'thank you for logging in, mstriumph, etc then i STILL don't seem to be logged in properly as many of the forums are marked 'private' - ie PBS girls, merchandise, etc [which they never were before ..............]

Try clearing your cookies from your web browser and then log back in.

i can't get into my user cp
and, when i NOW try to log in again it says 'welcome mstriumph etc' then gives me the 'you are not logged in' message

the damnable thing is, typing this now, i HAVE a proper 'mstriumph' user screeen showing user cp and everything ..... i just can't access it

bugger - taken it but it says it's 125kb and 'too big' to upload for that type of file

have you tried a different browser? ie firefox

another day older and my magical powers haven't returned -
this morning it booted me the first time i tried to post --- and now it allows me to post even though it says i'm not here and won't allow access to the three areas mentioned above or my user cp area

should i re-register as someone else d'you think? - if i did that, could you then combine the new persona back into the mstriumph persona?

Does this work for you at home, unfortunatly it's hard for me to figure out what your IT dept has set your machine up as.

Can you check your cookie settings, -tools >> Internet Optio0ns >> Privacy >> Advanced

Best settings are
Checked - Overide Auto Cookie Handling
Checked Allow First Party Cookies
Checked Block Thrid Party Cookies
Checked Always allow sesion cookies

i let a week pass because i was becoming distraught

i can get on from my home machine and all forums are present and correct ..... AND i can get into user cp *does a little hop and skip*

unFORtunately, when i try to change my password as was recommended, it keeps saying my CURRENT password isn't valid [which is daft as i used it to access the site 5 minutes ago and my caps lock isn't on...] - also that email addy in user cp is no longer valid [you have my new one - i emailed you] and i can't change that either because of the password thingy

------ *sigh* - am afraid if i log out now i will no longer be able to log in - am gonna try it - if it don't work i'll email you tomorrow
