Isnt in there. I even added the psb url in the'trusted sites' tab and it still wont open. Is this a case of turn everythng off and it might work in the morning? This has never happened before.

really dumb qn - when you try PSB and it comes up with "the page cannot be displayed'" have you tried doing a refresh, eith F5 or Cltr-F5?

ok, last thing i'm trying and then i'm giving up.
go to this local address in windows explorer:
C:\Documents and Settings\<User_name>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
(username is whatever you're in as)
and click on index.dat and delete it.

Edit : found index.dat. Was in administrator, not user name. Still hasnt worked. Thanks for effort though.

open that hosts file you found earlier in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\ with notepad
at the very end add the line that tyson mentioned. Save the file.
Then try getting to the website again.

ignore the stuff after "trace complete" I think it captured what I was cut and pasteing to Caillin, trying to get him to come tonight.
