A new way to change your username

Have just tried to change my username and got this...

Rule Violation: The username that you have submitted violates one of the Username Rules that the administrator has specified.

The name doesn't appear under the Members List, so I assume it is not already taken.

So what be these confounded rules of which you speak

Name changes are the domain of Admins not Mods. So no mods aren't checking it.

that would explain it. theres a lot less admins than mods so they have less time to notice things like this
