Why does it notify me when I have quoted someone?
I can understand it when someone quotes me, but I kinda know who and what I have quoted.

I'm pretty cool with the rest of it, and surprisingly the like system seems to be working really well.
I just see no need to be notified of something I have done.

Yeah, weird... I only get notified if somebody does it to me.

I do notice that occasionally I'll see my own quotes in the 'feed', but I never get notified of it and it doesn't add to the notification number.
