    Sending PM's

    Help please,

I have just sent a PM to about 18 people [it was regarding the 3 day ride on November 12] and I received an error message about 2 user names. I now find when I go into my 'sent messages ' box, the other 16 names don't appear in the sent box. How do I know if the message was actually sent ???

PS, it looks like it hasen't been sent, it was quite long, is there anyway of recovering it so I may send again?

It sounds like it may be related to this - PMs. Save draft

If you read the thread it proves that I know nothing about nothing, so I might refrain from making a dick of myself again in this thread

Hopefully somebody who knows stuff will answer either that query or this one.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Have you selected that the messages you send are saved to your sent box?
If you don't select the feature- their is no history of the PM's you sent.
You'll find it at the end of all the different things you can do with the PM before you send it and it should say something like "Save a copy to my Sent Box".
you can also track mail so you know when the person has read the PM you sent. (It's in the same area)
If you've selected this- it might just be an error with PSB at the moment?
    Hope this helps

Edit: Don't Worry- wonderful barfridge seems to have made more sense than I.....

    Thanks you 2,

I have just sent another message to multiple recipients and it has not saved it. The messages to individual members are automatically saved but the group messages are not which makes it unclear as to whether or not they have actually been sent. I have checked my settings and the check box to save sent messages has definately been checked?????????/

PS, I just texted one of the supposed recipients and he did not receive my message, so why is it that when I have multiple recipients, the message does not send ???

I think there's a limit of how many receipents per message? How many you trying to send to at once?
