Sizing Photos

I spent most of last night trying to get a posting to look right with the photos all the same size. Half of them keep coming through too large.

• They're hosted on photobucket.
• They were all uploaded the same size in the same upload.
• I've repeatedly cleared my cache.
• I've thought about hosting elsewhere but wouldn't have a clue which would be best for this purpose.
• What size photos are best for large postings?

I even tried uploading to PSB but it's a little confusing to do. Things have changed since I was last here and I'm not very technical.

Can someone please help?

I'm thinking I might just post the thing and see if any mods jump all over it.

It's in the "How to" section if anyone has ideas.

I think that forum software limits the photos to a particular upper resolution and automatically resizes them where required.
