More info about the problem from Sprint:
Quote:
the message i get when i try to access PSB is:
"You have been denied access to this forum. The reason is that you are visiting us from a place that has been blacklisted as an Open Proxy. You have to fix this, and return."
I have absolutely no idea how to fix it and Bigpond have been no help... thanks for any assiatnce in letting PSB know i'm stranded!

I had that happen once and because I had dialup I 'think' I just shutdown/disconnected from the net, started it up again, got a different IP addy and away I went, causing more havoc. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????
I hope someone else can help him more than me.

I've logged in now, after 24 hourts of non-support from Telstra. I have disconnected my wireless router... can get in, but no home network
Can anyone suggest what's going on?
5 years of access via same ISP (cable modem) with no issues getting access to this site. Has something changed somewhere, i have made no changes to my configuration...
TIA
S.

I'm going to shut down and re-connect the router as an experiment (spot who is devoid of know-how here!)...

Reason: corrected spelling - might even make some sense now!

No camels here, and no salesman
I have changed my MAC address default settings, seems to work now (i am perplexed as to why this suddenly became an issue yesterday, been running the same setup for an age...).

Tyson: I moved from 'default MAC address' to 'use computer MAC address' in my router settings and it's all good now.
I still don't get what went wrong in the first place <shrugs>. At least i'll be able to suggest something if anyone else gets the 'open proxy' message of doom!
