    Tab to reply pane

Not sure if this is just affecting me, but when posting a new thread, replying or posting a PM, I can't enter text in the pane without clicking in it.
i.e. Sending a new PM, I put in the title and tab to the body pane, the cursor sits there blinking but I can't enter any text until I physically click in the pane with the mouse.
    Any hints?
    Cheers,
    Jim

It's probably the new editor system that's doing that.
    will look into it however.

Nah I've been having issues for a few days When I hit reply with quote it doesn't go to advanced like it did but just to a "quick reply" sized box without all the extra buttons
Then if I go advanced there seems to be extra buttons for adding tables etc that weren't there before and the whole layout is almost like it's in "soft focus"
Also the smilies are playing up, sometimes they appear when clicked sometimes not, the page also "locks up" and I get an error message saying the page needs to be recovered and I lose my whole post Also the spellcheck is FUBAR

EDIT: This is with W7 and IE9 on my fairly new desktop and laptop with W7/IE9

as mentioned, vbulletin introduced a completely new KDE editor.
it has bugs, obviously. most of them i cant fix until vb update the software.

Also, another bug it would seem.
Cutting and pasting, even from text within the reply pane, results in a different font, text and size being used.
    See here for example.
That was quoted and then copied from the reply with quote pane and pasted directly back into the same pane.

I assume my query is similar to Jims.

Once you paste an image, you can't mouse click under the image to add another. Even directional buttons just take you to the end of text or beginning of image.

    Hope that makes sense.

It has a heap of bugs, can we revert?
I know you've put a lot of effort in, but the new editor is, well, utterly fucking shit.

meh, i'd disagree. i think it's actually quite good, with just a few bugs IMO.

vbulletin has indicated an update is not far away, so hopefully that will address most of it.
and unforuntately reverting isnt' an option as it's the vb standard now and the old editor is discontinued.
