    *WARNING* Nude Photos

Well here is my naked bike, not a stitch of plastics all bar the fork stockings. The bikes story, 1986 CR500, I bought the bike in 86 and raced it for 4 years in the Pilbara. Its been in the shed since 1990 because life, work, kid got in front. Kept the bike because I knew if I sold it, I wouldn’t get another in a hurry. Man has the red dust been hard to clean off.

I hope you will get a woody from the photos.

    ENJOY

I don’t ride to get to the end, I ride for that moment

Hop scotch, skip rope, tunnel ball & football, all the same to me
If you cant ride it or fuck it, then its not sport

Mint, motard ? Power bands and torques. Memories of drag racing in gravel against one similar with a yz490 and getting a rock in the chest. Well done hanging on to that.

You raced it for four years and you still have enough fingers left to laboriously pick out this post with the handful you have left!
    I salute you!
I saw you even had the swingarm redone .. it looks absolutely mint, nice work!

Are you getting the plastics redone or sourcing new ones?

Thanks guys, I know you dudes would appreciate the old weapon. Mans bike, young mans bike, this 44 year old is going to have his work cut out. Once I could pin this thing so I need to keep myself in check. It has a mind of is own and if you think you own the power it will bit drive and eat you.

I am cleaning up the plastic but thinking of a ride set and a show set. Yes I intend to ride it, it deserves that but when it becomes too much (maybe in my 70ies or so, or when I can’t get some one to start it for me) it will have another resto. Long Term Plan.

Next is panels and run it in for the odd race.
I don’t ride to get to the end, I ride for that moment
