I had the same vintage CR 250, loved that bike and spewin i ever sold it. Frame looks very similar if not the same. But you are doing an amazing job there mate, keep up the hard work, cant wait to see the end result.

Go a CRE500, they come with a compliance plate and a wider ratio box.

Here is an AF conversion, get a late model CRF250 & rip out the slug and fit a CR500 donk

Check out priming the engine, finger on the kill switch to get a lung of fuel up before to bike boot.
