    Post 1999 yamaha r6

Hey boys and gals. This is my new bike that i picked up a week ago.

So far it is as stock as a rock but im looking at changing things in the coming years. At moment it is missing the top left hand side inner/top fairing but i have that part already on order.

Im just looking at tydying it up with fender elimanators and aftermarket indicators. New exhaust and maybe new screen. other than that it will only be small things.

heres some pics of where it is at now.

Love the older R6's — really nice bikes. I reckon yours just needs a shorter pipe and a seat cowl (+ removal of the pillion pegs) and she'd be sweet. Go for a GP-style pipe

I have the same model bike (99 R6). Has after-market exhaust (Harris) and teeny tiny indicators that people can't see (wouldn't recommend) and dark tinted screen. Would definately recommend changing the pipe, but wouldn't worry about the rest...

Looks nice. I, too have a soft spot for these older R6's. My old bus driver used to have one and he had an old pipe with no baffle he used to put on 'for fun'. He used to rev its guts out behind the class rooms during exams.
